The deep strings E, A, and D are wrapped with round wire around nylon, producing full, rounded bass tones without a metallic plucking sound when fingerpicking. The high strings are wrapped with nylon tape over a core of rope, resulting in a slightly brighter sound than nylon strings. This is the ideal set for folk fingerpicking.
