With the Macho Direct, we offer a powerful HDT cooler. The cooler is based on the well-known Macho design and is aimed at particularly budget-conscious users. Optimized for ultra-quiet operation, this cooler provides outstanding cooling performance without any frills at a very attractive price. The original concept of the Macho has, of course, been retained: the heatsink is oriented towards the back of the case to avoid incompatibilities when using memory modules with tall heatspreaders. The aluminum cooling fins are equipped with multiple air holes to prevent air stagnation between the individual fins. The Macho Direct utilizes the Heatpipe Direct Touch principle. Five 6 mm heatpipes ensure particularly efficient dissipation of the processor's waste heat. As is typical with Thermalright, the heatpipes are convexly shaped. This patented design of the heatpipes by Thermalright is intentionally not flat.
