The Ascent

The Ascent is a solo and co-op action shooter RPG set in Veles, a densely packed cyberpunk world. Welcome to the Arcology of the Ascent Group, a self-contained, corporate-run metropolis that stretches high into the sky and is filled with creatures from across the galaxy. You play as a worker enslaved by the company that owns you and everyone else in your district. One day, while you are sent on a routine mission to use your skills with a cyberdeck, you suddenly find yourself caught in a whirlwind of catastrophic events.

Solo or Co-op: Play the entire game solo or team up with up to three friends in local or online co-op.

Explosive Combat: Aim low or high, switch weapons, equip deadly gadgets, take cover, and use the destructible environments to your advantage while adapting your tactics as you face new enemies.

RPG Elements: Customize your character with cyberware that suits your playstyle. Assign new skill points as you level up and experiment with various augmentations to defeat your enemies in new creative ways.

A Vibrant Cyberpunk World: Meet new allies and enemies and find loot as you explore the densely packed world of The Ascent and its wide variety of districts, from the deep slums to the higher luxury spheres.
