As the name suggests, the RAIN PRO is a fully functional wireless weather station, with a focus on measuring precipitation. The package includes two wireless transmitters: a container for measuring rainfall and a combined sensor for determining outdoor temperature and humidity. The measurements are transmitted wirelessly to the base station in your living space. Choose a suitable location outdoors for the measuring container, where rain can fall freely from all sides. When it starts to rain, raindrops blink on the weather station display, the graphic of the measuring cylinder begins to fill slowly, and the exact amount of rainfall is displayed. The 24-hour rain alarm notifies you as soon as more precipitation falls than the threshold you have individually set. After operating the station for an extended period, you can view various summarized time periods, such as the rainfall amount over the last 24 hours, the last 7 days, and the total rainfall since commissioning. The precipitation amounts for the last 12 months can be accessed and compared individually.

Additionally, the RAIN PRO provides other desirable information. Based on the air pressure changes measured by the integrated barometer, the weather symbol gives a forecast for the upcoming weather. To monitor the indoor climate, temperature and humidity are displayed. The current time and complete date, including the day of the week, are received via the DCF 77 radio signal.

Two additional sensors for temperature and humidity monitoring, for example in a children's room or garage, can be connected.
