Wireless thermometer with transmission of outdoor temperature and a range of 100 meters. It also displays indoor temperature and features a radio clock with date. The device can be used for hanging or standing. It requires 2 x 1.5 V AA batteries for the base station and 2 x 1.5 V AA batteries for the transmitter.

The 868 MHz temperature station "Wave" from TFA Dostmann is equipped with two easy-to-use function buttons and displays the time with seconds function as well as indoor and outdoor temperatures. It is suitable for use at home as well as in the office.

The time base for the radio-controlled time display is a cesium atomic clock operated by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, which has a deviation of less than 1 second in 1 million years. This time is encoded and transmitted by a sender in Mainflingen via DCF77 signal over a transmission range of about 1500 km. Your weather station receives this signal, converts it, and always shows you the exact time, regardless of summer or winter.
