TFA Drop radio rain gauge

With the wireless rain gauge DROP, you are informed about three values simultaneously: the amount of rainfall, the indoor temperature, and the time. The rain sensor wirelessly transmits the measurements to the base station in your living space, which you can either place on a surface or mount on the wall. The measuring container is set up horizontally outdoors, ideally at a height of about 60 to 90 cm, to catch the rain. However, ensure that the sensor is positioned in an area that is not sheltered by trees or similar objects, allowing rain to fall in unobstructed from all sides.

DROP comes with additional great features: With the history function, you can compare the rainfall amount with the monthly values from the previous year. The amount of rain is also visually represented in a graph. You can view different time periods, such as the rainfall of the last 24 hours, the last 7 days, and the total rainfall since the device was put into operation. The 24-hour rain alarm alerts you as soon as more rainfall occurs than the threshold you have individually set. If this threshold is exceeded, an alarm sounds, and a symbol flashes on the display.
