The BOXX2 radio alarm clock has two key advantages that set it apart from conventional radio alarm clocks: it does not require disposable batteries, as the integrated battery can be easily, economically, and environmentally friendly charged via a Micro-USB cable – using your laptop, PC, or power bank – just like your smartphone. This allows you to place the BOXX2 flexibly and independently of power outlets. The second highlight is the ability to set wake-up times individually for each day of the week. Two alarm times are available, and you can choose for each day whether the alarm should ring at one or both times or not. And if you don’t want to get up right away, the snooze function gives you a few extra minutes in bed. The duration of the snooze can be set to 5, 10, or 15 minutes. The radio clock receives the time via the DCF 77 signal, ensuring you always have the current time accurate to the second without prior setting. The date is displayed, and the current day of the week is highlighted in color. If you find the display of seconds or the calendar week more interesting than that of the year, the display can be permanently switched. A display for temperature and humidity helps you regulate the room climate in your bedroom. For a restful sleep, the temperature should not exceed 18 °C and should not fall below 16 °C. The humidity should be between 40 and 60% for optimal conditions. To ensure you can read the display easily at night, the clock features a subtle and energy-efficient LED backlight that can be automatically activated in darkness via a light sensor.
