Performance Features: Wave resistance (impedance) 50 Ohm or 75 Ohm: In most application areas, the 50-ohm system is used. However, for the transmission of video and audio signals, as well as in long-distance technology, the 75-ohm system is typically employed. Insertion loss (attenuation): Insertion loss describes the electrical signal losses along a cable. It is primarily determined by the cable diameter, the material of the dielectric, and the frequency to be transmitted.
