This design not only ensures high resonance suppression but also provides crystal-clear sound by overlapping and thereby dampening the resonance frequencies of the different materials. The drive method used combines a belt drive with an automatic speed regulation mechanism developed by TEAC. Changes in the rotation of the turntable are detected by a sensor and are incorporated into the control of the motor speed. This ensures high speed accuracy that can compete with heavyweight belt and direct drive systems while allowing for the use of a thin turntable with an elegant appearance.
