The PD-505T CD transport is a long-awaited addition to the Reference 500 series. Featuring a dedicated CD drive based on the renowned CD-5020A, the PD-505T delivers precise CD reading with high purity. The semi-floating mounting and the new drive control circuit enhance sound quality, while discrete circuits and a crystal-based internal clock generator with low phase noise improve performance. The all-metal housing and Stressless Foot design provide vibration resistance and a stylish appearance. With support for 10 MHz clocking, this transport can be used not only with a TEAC Reference 500 series DAC but also allows for high-quality audio CD playback with a variety of digital playback systems.
