TEAC CG-10M-A/B Master Clock Generator

The CG-10M is a master clock generator that provides an extremely accurate clock signal, allowing digital-to-analog converters (DACs) to perform at their best. It is well-known among audiophiles that the clock signal is fundamental to any digital signal processing. Digital signals like PCM are divided along the time axis into tens of thousands of parts per second. When this fundamental timeline fluctuates during D/A conversion, it becomes much more challenging to reproduce an analog audio waveform that is identical to the original. This is even more critical for DSD audio signals, which operate in the MHz range on the timeline. For this reason, having a clock signal as accurate as possible is essential for the restoration of digital audio signals, especially for HiRes files that use ultra-high sample rates like DSD 22.5 MHz or PCM 768 kHz.
