Flat connector and socket housings TE Connectivity Dynamic D-2100S and D-2100D, 2.5 mm. The 2.5 mm flat connector and socket housings of the Dynamic D-2100 series are compact and space-saving. The D-2100S versions feature a single-row configuration by default, while the D-2100D versions have a double-row configuration. The D-2100 connector housings are equipped with locking lance mechanisms that secure the contacts in place and prevent damage to the contacts during insertion. An audible click indicates that the contact is fully secured in the housing. The crimp housings of the D-2100 series have guiding ribs that prevent mis-insertion as well as movement or twisting between the housings when connected. Central locks on the top of the housing ensure a secure connection, and an audible click indicates that the connection fits correctly. The central lock also saves space on the printed circuit board, allowing for a high mounting density. The crimp sockets and flat connector contacts for the Dynamic D-2100 connector housings must be ordered separately.
