The Dynamic D-5200 series of flat and receptacle connector housings features a compact, vibration-resistant design and high current carrying capacity. The D-5200S versions have a single row configuration as standard, while the D-5200M versions have a modular double row configuration. The D-5200 connector housings have locking lances to secure the contacts in place and prevent damage during mating. An audible click indicates that the contact is fully secured in the housing. The crimp housings of the D-5200 series have guide ribs to prevent mismating and movement or twisting between the housings when mated. Locking levers on each side of the housing provide a secure plug connection, and an audible click indicates that the plug connection fits properly. A device for cable confirmation on the housing provides an additional visual inspection. The crimp receptacles and tab contacts for the Dynamic D-5200 connector housings must be ordered separately.
