Amplimite .050 Series III shielded connectors are approved to SCSI-2, SCSI-3, EIA RS-232, ISO-11569, IPI-2, HIPPI, and IEEE 802.3 MII standards. Amplimite .050 Series III shielded D-Sub female headers feature a compact, space-saving design and high-density Type D interface with a 1.27 x 2.54mm contact pitch. These Amplimite .050 III series D-sub connectors for PCB mounting have full shielding that provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference and high-frequency noise signals. The housings are made of high-temperature resistant thermoplastic and are compatible with reflow soldering methods. The right-angle D-sub PCB mount headers are available with integrated board mounts that provide a secure connection on the PCB and good grounding. These Amplimite .050 PCB mount D-sub headers are also available with rails and locking blocks that lock the header to the appropriate mating cable connector. The rails also provide additional contact protection by preventing lateral rocking movement during disconnection.
