Type 55® cable has insulation of modified cross-bonded ETFE polymer. The double-wall aircraft grade design of 55® cable is used in numerous aerospace programs and is ideal for applications where high temperature insulation is required. The double layer has a total wall thickness of 0.25 mm. The inner layer has a contrasting color (blue) for easy damage detection.
