Battery type: Lithium-Polymer (LiPo), Voltage: 7.4 V, Application area: Multicopter. LiPo stands for Lithium-Polymer and is an advancement of the Lithium-Ion battery. This type of battery has a significantly higher energy density compared to NiMH batteries. For this reason, LiPos are ideally suited for use in combination with powerful brushless electric motors. This is a LiPo battery that must only be charged with a LiPo-compatible (balancer) charger and must never be charged with a pure NiMH charger. If the speed controller used does not have a LiPo cutoff, you can monitor deep discharge (below 3.3 V/cell) with a LiPo tester.
