The model kit is a replica of the largest battleship ever built, the Musashi, which belongs to the Yamato class. Completed in 1942, the Musashi participated in various campaigns before ultimately meeting its fate at the Battle of Leyte Gulf, where it was sunk by aircraft from the US Navy. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its precision fit and detailed representation, including an anti-aircraft suite equipped with numerous individual 25mm guns on the main deck.
