Tamiya 1:48 WWII Dt. Fieseler FIL156C Storch

The stand model is a replica of the German Fieseler Fi 156 Storch. The Fieseler was a light aircraft with remarkable STOL capabilities (Short Take Off and Landing). The design included practical features such as folding wings, which made the Storch easy to transport, and shock absorbers for the landing gear, allowing the aircraft to land on rough surfaces. Field Marshal Erwin Rommel was also known for using his Fi 156 extensively for reconnaissance of battlefields in North Africa.
