Talens Bespannter Keilrahmen Baumwolle 35 x 27 cm

The canvas of this Talens stretcher frame is made of 100% cotton, weighs 300 g/m² when primed, and has a fine texture with 21.5 x 19 threads/cm². It is hand-coated four times (1 layer of gelatin, 3 layers of acrylic-based gesso) and naturally dried before being stretched. The frames are made from 2 cm thick, European, FSC-certified softwood. The rounded, raised edge at the top ensures that the canvas does not touch the frame. Additionally, each stretcher frame comes with extra beech wood wedges for re-stretching the canvas. Talens stretcher frames are excellent for oil and acrylic techniques.
