The Synology RackStation RS1221+/RS1221RP+ is a powerful 2U rackmount NAS solution with 8 bays, ideally suited for centralized data management in environments with limited rack depth. The RS1221+ series is perfect for demanding file workloads as well as protecting digital assets in smaller business settings; this is ensured by comprehensive data protection options integrated into the DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system. Multi-user environments can be easily handled with read speeds of up to 2,315 MB/s and write speeds of 1,147 MB/s. The RS1221+ and RS1221RP+ offer a shallow depth of just 298 mm and 399 mm, respectively. Ready for 10 GbE: Install a 10GbE SFP+ or RJ-45 network card to instantly increase bandwidth in your existing infrastructure. Two units can be configured together to create a Synology High Availability cluster for maximum service availability and failover within minutes.
