The hard drives are already installed, and the DSM software is set up. The Synology DS723+ is a compact and flexible NAS solution with 2 bays that can be customized and expanded as needed; it supports up to seven drives, a faster network, and NVMe SSDs for caching or additional storage pools. With the Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM), it serves as a flexible all-in-one solution for file sharing, synchronization, backup, and video surveillance. It offers up to 471/225 MB/s sequential read and write throughput for fast and efficient file management. Utilize integrated solutions for file and photo management, data protection, virtualization, and video surveillance. Two 1GbE ports allow for easy integration into existing environments, while optional 10GbE connectivity is available for more specialized and bandwidth-intensive applications. With an expansion unit DX517, the capacity can be expanded by 5 bays for a total of up to 7 storage drives.
