Product details
The Supermicro SATA DOM (Disk on Module), known as SuperDOM, is a small SATA3 (6Gb/s) flash storage module designed to conveniently plug into a server board SATA port, providing powerful solid-state storage capacity that simulates a hard disk drive (HDD). Supermicro SATA DOMs are extremely reliable, have no moving parts like standard HDDs, and are smaller and lighter with significantly improved performance, latency, and power consumption (1W-2W per SATA DOM compared to 6W-7W for an HDD).
