Super Flying Model SFM SE5A 1200 mm kit
WarbirdProduct details
The SE5A was probably the most famous Allied fighter of World War I. Due to its high performance, it became the aircraft of choice for many aces like Mick Mannock. The SFM SE5A captures the iconic outlines of the original aircraft well and adapts them to create a powerful, hassle-free model. Like all World War I fighters, it requires a bit of finesse to get the best out of it, but that’s part of its charm! The controls respond precisely when needed, yet are very forgiving otherwise. It’s not a model for beginners, but it’s fun for the more experienced pilot. The balsa/plywood structure is designed to fit together logically and robustly, allowing for quick assembly. The easy-to-understand instructions guide you through the entire build process. A complete drawing is provided. By default, the model is designed for electric power but can easily be converted to a combustion version. This requirement was taken into account during construction. The SE5A makes a great dogfight duo with the SFM Fokker DVII.
