With Streacom's heat pipes, you can make your dream of passive cooling a reality. The heat pipes are made of nickel-plated copper to enable ideal heat transfer. For better protection, they are coated with a nickel layer. They are delivered in a straight form but can be shaped and bent with the right tools and care to perfectly suit your needs. Inside, there is a sintered wick.
The purpose of a heat pipe is to transport heat. The transfer itself occurs through the phase change of a contained liquid. At the point of heat input, this liquid evaporates, flows to the other side, and releases heat upon returning to a liquid state. Subsequently, the de-ionized water flows back, completing the cycle.
