With Streacom's heatpipes, you can make your dream of passive cooling a reality. The heatpipes are made of nickel-plated copper to enable ideal heat transfer. For better protection, they are coated with a nickel layer. They are delivered in a straight shape but can be shaped and bent with the right tools and care to perfectly suit your needs. Inside, there is a sintered wick.
The purpose of a heatpipe is to transport heat. The transfer occurs through the phase change of a contained liquid. At the point of heat input, this liquid evaporates, flows to the other side, and releases heat upon returning to its liquid state. Subsequently, the de-ionized water flows back, completing the cycle.
