STMicroelectronics ST-LINK/V2 In-Circuit Debugger/Program.
Product details
Debugger, programmer
For use with: STM8 and STM32 MCUs
Kit classification: Interface cards
In-circuit debugger/programmer ST-LINK/V2 for STM8 and STM32. An in-circuit debugger (ICD) and programmer to interface with the Single Wire Interface Module (SWIM) and JTAG/Serial Wire Debugging (SWD) for any STM8 or STM32 microcontroller on an application board. The ST-LINK/V2-ISOL withstands a high isolation voltage of 2500 V rms between the PC and the target application board. STM8 applications use the full-speed USB interface to communicate with STMicroelectronics' ST Visual Develop (STVD) or ST Visual Program (STVP) software. STM32 applications use the Full Speed USB interface to communicate with Atollic, IAR, Keil, or TASKING integrated development environments. 5 V power supply via USB connector. Compatible with USB 2.0 Full Speed interface. A standard USB A to Mini B cable is included.
SWIM-specific features:
- 1.65 V to 5.5 V application voltage supported by SWIM interface
- Low and high-speed SWIM modes supported
- SWIM programming speeds of 9.7 kbit/s at low speed, 12.8 kbit/s at high speed
- SWIM cable to connect to an application with an ERNI standard connector, vertical or horizontal
- SWIM cable to connect to an application with pin headers or 2.54 mm pitch connectors
JTAG/SWD-specific features:
- 1.65 V to 3.6 V application voltage is supported by the JTAG/SWD interface and inputs for 5 V
- JTAG cable to connect a 20-pin, 2.54 mm standard JTAG connector with pin pitch
- JTAG supported
- Communication with SWD and Serial Wire Viewer (SWV) supported
- Direct Firmware Update (DFU) supported
- Status LED flashing during communication with PC.
