Stentor Messina

The Stentor Messina is the first Stentor series of high-quality orchestral models. These are excellent handcrafted instruments carved from selected and grained tonewoods. The Stentor Messina viola is produced in a specialized workshop within the Stentor factory, where the most skilled individual workers create under the close supervision of a master in a traditional violin-making environment that has been familiar to luthiers for centuries. The result is a fine instrument with outstanding craftsmanship and exceptional sound. The viola is finished with a hand-applied traditional shellac varnish and is equipped with professional-quality brand strings. All instruments are individually assembled in the workshop.
