PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Multimode SC Fiber Network Card Adapter. The StarTech PCIe Gigabit Fiber Network Card allows you to connect a desktop PC directly to a fiber network by adding a multimode SC fiber connection to your computer or server via an available PCI Express slot. The maximum length of the fiber run is 550 m. It supports full/half-duplex auto-negotiation and includes a mounting bracket for low-profile/half-height installation. It supports RFC 1157 SNMP v1 for remote management, jumbo frames, and PCI Message Signaled Interrupt (MSI). Preboot Execution Environment (PXE) 2.1 is also supported, as well as Wake-on-LAN remote activation and Advanced Configuration Power Management Interface (ACPI) 2.0. The network card comes with a standard profile bracket and includes a low-profile/half-height bracket. Ideal for installation in computers or 1U servers and rack-mount applications.
