With laser-optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF), the OM4 fiber optic patch cable is ideal for 850 nm and 1350 nm Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) and LED sources. Precision-crafted ceramic ferrules ensure correct fiber alignment to avoid connection issues and minimize insertion loss. The polished LC to LC-UPC fiber ends are designed for reliability in high-density network applications and significantly improve return loss characteristics compared to older PC polishing techniques.

Wide compatibility

This multimode fiber optic patch cable (50/125µm) is backward compatible with OM3 and 1/10/40 Gbit networks, ensuring a reliable connection with older fiber environments.

Flame resistant

This OM4 fiber optic cable is flame-retardant with an LSZH jacket (Low-Smoke, Zero-Halogen) and produces minimal smoke and toxic fumes when exposed to high heat or in the event of a fire. It allows for safer cable installations in poorly ventilated areas, including some industrial environments, enclosed spaces like trains and airplanes, as well as residential areas where building regulations must be followed.

Each OM4 fiber optic cable is also individually tested and certified to meet the allowable limits for optical insertion loss, ensuring compatibility and 100% reliability.
