ST Model Arcus M EP ARTF with folding power unit 2220 mm

The Arcus M from ST Model is based on the manned original of the self-launching motor glider and has been adapted for the demands of model flying. ST benefited from the experiences gained during the development of their DG1000 and has further refined them for the Arcus M. The retractable propulsion system (RPS) has been further developed specifically for the Arcus. Additionally, the Arcus features a retractable nose wheel with landing gear flaps and fully functional air brakes. The elongated wings are very efficient and allow for thermal flights with the motor retracted, just like a regular glider. During landing, the air brakes/flaps can be deployed from the efficient wings, generating enough drag and downforce to make precise landings a breeze. Absolutely perfect! Like all ST models, the Arcus is "CAD Designed" and made from durable EPO foam. Inside the model, there are reinforcements made of carbon fiber that enhance stability while avoiding unnecessary weight. The powerful brushless motor provides impressive climb rates and requires only a 3-cell 1300 mAh LiPo battery for operation. With the Arcus M, you can enjoy pure gliding fun without needing any launch assistance system.
