Product details

Mako is the planet's life energy, which the Shinra corporation mercilessly exploits. The resistance group Avalanche recruits ex-soldier Cloud Strife to help them attack one of Shinra's Mako reactors. High up on the plateau above the slums of Midgar, a fierce conflict breaks out.

After the reactor explodes, Cloud suddenly encounters an enemy he thought was dead amidst the flames and rubble. The guardians of destiny have set the course. The rescue of the starving planet begins anew.

This game is partly a remake of FINAL FANTASY VII from 1997 and is the first title in a multi-part series based on the original game. It reinterprets the part of the story set in Midgar, with expanded scenes, new characters and additional layers to the narrative.

FF7R Episode INTERmission
Play as Yuffie Kisaragi, a young ninja warrior from Wutai who sneaks into Midgar on a mission to steal Shinra's "ultimate materia."
