The Tough Armor Series by Spigen is an enhanced version of its predecessor. Its two-part construction consists of abrasion-resistant thermoplastic and a reinforcing polycarbonate frame. Inside the case, there is a filling made of technological foam that provides an additional layer of protection against impacts or drops of the device. The slightly raised design around the camera and screen protects against scratches by lifting the phone just enough above a flat surface. It features button covers and cutouts for ports. Tough Armor has undergone fitness tests, being dropped 26 times from a height of up to 1.2 meters, and has received the American military certification MIL-STD 810G-516.6.
