Product details

During peak impulses, such as hard and loud bass hits, powerful amplifiers increase their power consumption significantly. The power supplies then require more and faster current than the alternator or battery can provide. The voltage of the onboard power network fluctuates, leading to distorted music playback and clipped impulses. To prevent this, additional capacitors should be used. PowerCaps allow even power-hungry amplifiers to perform at their best and stabilize the onboard voltage. The quality electrolytic capacitors buffer the current like a battery and release the stored energy to the amplifiers within milliseconds, thereby also extending the battery's lifespan.
