At its core, The Last of Us still revolves heavily around Ellie and Joel, but for this reveal, we wanted to introduce several new characters who are essential to their next journey. We are sure you have many questions after seeing this scene. We are also quite certain that we will see all kinds of theories about who these characters are, where and when this scene takes place, and how it all fits into the next story of Ellie and Joel. For now, we’re keeping it under wraps, but we’re excited to see what you all make of this piece of the puzzle. While Naughty Dog is working on The Last of Us Part II, we are making great strides on this project. In terms of art, technology, gameplay, and story, this is by far our most ambitious game to date. You can expect an intense, beautiful, harrowing, and emotionally moving ride.
