Auch wenn das Sony SmartBand den letzten Platz im Vergleichstest belegt, bietet es einige bemerkenswerte Funktionen und Eigenschaften. Sony unternimmt mit dem Band den Versuch, neben den Funktionen als Fitness-Tracker, auch ohne Display bestimmte Smartwatch-Eigenschaften zu ermöglichen...
Preislich bewegt sich die Sony SmartBand SWR10 auf einem fairen Niveau, ab etwa 50 Euro ist der Fitness Tracker im Handel erhältlich. Dabei muss man jedoch gerade bei der Ausstattung Kompromisse machen, ebenso wie auch bei der schwachen Genauigkeit. Ergonomisch bewegt sie sich auf einem Level mit der Konkurrenz.
Wenngleich das SmartBand SWR10 hinsichtlich seiner Fähigkeiten hinter dem zurückbleibt, was Sony bei der Vorstellung versprochen hat, erledigt es seine Pflichten zuverlässig. Im Test stellten sich die gemessenen Werte als genau genug heraus, tendenziell neigt das Wearable aber zur Untertreibung...
Die große Funktionsvielfalt sowie die schlichte und zugleich schicke Optik gefallen beim Sony. Allerdings ist die Bedienung etwas fummelig, da der kleine Touchsensor nicht immer exakt reagiert und so es zu Fehleingaben kommt. Dafür sitzt das Armband aber auch sehr bequem am Arm und auch der Akku macht einen top Job.
Das Sony ist sehr schick aber leider ist kein Display hier eingebaut. Somit ist die Bedienung etwas umständlich, wobei die Ausstattung sowie die Leistung des Akkus durchaus ansprechend sind. Durch das geringe Gewicht ist auch der Tragekomfort recht hoch.
