Sony KD85XG8596
85", LCD, 4K, 2019Product details
For five generations of 4K UHD, Sony has been at the forefront of picture, sound, and build quality. The XG 2019 Series builds on this and now features one of the most attractive smart platforms on the market. The Sony Bravia XG Series maintains the same exceptional processing quality as the XF Series 2018 but enhances image quality with the X1 4K HDR processor and next-generation TRILUMINOS display. The sound quality is not compromised, and a cavity is maintained to ensure perfect acoustics for your living room. The Sony Bravia KD85XG8596 enhances earlier generations of its LED TVs by incorporating Acoustic Multi-Audio, which features improved speakers for clearer and higher-quality sound than ever before, while also supporting Hi-Res audio, which includes all audio data played back at higher sampling rates than on CDs, closer to the original recording. On the back of the TV, two sound positioning tweeters have been added to simulate sound from different areas of the screen for a much more intense experience. The X1 processor is the missing link from a good television experience to an exceptional one. The X1 processor analyzes each signal received by the television to determine the level of processing required for the picture, including noise reduction and Super Bit Mapping, which smooths color gradients to reduce the banding effect. A RAW 4K Ultra HD signal is treated differently than a Netflix 4K signal, a Sky HD signal, or a USB video signal. The Sony Bravia KD85XG8596 4K television features Sony's fifth iteration of the TRILUMINOS display. TRILUMINOS brings more lifelike colors, significantly improving vividness and color accuracy, resulting in brilliant image quality and the benefits of 4K Ultra HD resolution. The technology goes one step further with the Precision Colour Mapping process, which enhances blue tones and covers the entire spectrum of the color space.
