Auch wenn der Camcorder von Sony rund 2.000 Euro kostet, ist er relativ preiswert für ein Modell, das Ultra HD Videos aufzeichnen kann. Dabei ist der Bildschirm als Touchversion ausgelegt, der auch bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung noch gut zu bedienen ist. Die 4k Auflösung erlaubt dem Nutzer mehr Flexibilität auch wenn er am Ende nur Full HD Videos ausgibt.

Bei der Bildqualität sowie dem Handling ist die Sony bestens aufgestellt und liefert tolle Ergebnisse mit einem sehr guten Weitwinkel. Auch der Bildstabilisator arbeitet sehr zuverlässig. Allerdings hätte der Hersteller mehr Kontrolle durch den Nutzer zulassen sollen, damit der Camcorder mehr Möglichkeiten bietet.

Mit einer sehr sinnvollen und guten Ausstattung samt internem WLAN sowie top Aufnahmen in Ultra HD Auflösung ist der Sony Camcorder jeden Cent Wert. Die manuellen Einstellungen sind schnell vorgenommen und auch das Rauschverhalten des Gerätes sind exzellent. Nur die Tatsache, dass der Blitzschuh für herstellereigenes Zubehör vorgesehen ist, schmälert den top Eindruck.
