It differs from the SMIT Viaccess CAM in that the Pro version can decode up to 20 streams simultaneously (approximately 4-8 TV channels, assuming the devices and channels support this).

Official Conax Professional Module features an ASIC chip with proprietary intellectual property rights, an embedded 32-bit CPU (ARM7TDMI), and advanced 0.18-micron technology. It includes an advanced language development environment that supports the subsequent development of value-added services.

Descrambling capabilities support common descrambling algorithms used in Europe. The module has a DVB-CI interface that is compatible with DVB-CI/PCMCIA and a smart card interface that complies with ISO7816.
