It is important to clarify the following technical aspects regarding the use of lithium batteries: The maximum charging voltage of a lithium battery is 14.8 V. If there is a problem with the regulator, the battery elements will be damaged one by one, quickly leading to a risk of explosion. The TS120 tester is highly recommended to check the charging cycle. Additionally, the motor should be connected to a specific maintenance charger at every stop, if possible. Do not use a jump starter. In winter, start the engine several times to activate the battery.
