Thanks to the SFX format, the SilverStone SST-SX450-B is primarily designed for mini cases (mostly in Mini-ITX format) and offers high performance in minimal dimensions. It comes with a quiet 80mm fan with an optimized fan curve. This makes the SST-SX450-B a great solution for nearly all users who want to combine high performance with low noise.

The power supplied on the 12-volt line, which is important for graphics cards, delivers a full 450 watts (37.5 amps), providing ample power. With overload protection (OPP), undervoltage protection (UVP), overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), and short circuit protection (SCP), essential safety features are included. Instead of a split 12V line, this version features a very robust single rail, making it suitable even for multi-GPU systems.

In total, there are two PCIe 6+2-pin connectors available. Additionally, there are a 20+4-pin connector for the motherboard, a 4+4-pin connector, three SATA connectors, two 4-pin Molex connectors, and one floppy connector. The SST-SX450-B also excels in efficiency, achieving an efficiency rating of up to 85 percent, which is why it has been awarded an 80 PLUS Bronze certification.
