Do you want to install fast storage drives but have no free M.2 ports left? With this adapter, it is possible to operate an M.2 SSD via a PCI-Express slot on the motherboard. There are almost no limits to compatibility: the adapter itself has a low profile. It is not tied to a PCI slot cover, making it flexible for use in your system. You can easily install SSDs in the common formats of 2280, 2260, 2230, 2242, and 22110, and the adapter is also very versatile with its support for PCIe 1.0/1.1, 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0.

This adapter comes with thermal pads and a heatsink for optimal heat transfer.
