The SilverStones ECU03 is a USB 3.1 expansion card featuring external Type-A and Type-C ports. It provides dual 10 Gb/s bandwidth for excellent stability and transfer rates when multiple external USB devices are used simultaneously. The ECU03 is also backward compatible with USB 3.0/2.0/1.1 and supports UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) for enhanced performance. On operating systems with XHCI (eXtensible Host Controller Interface), the ECU03 can be installed without drivers, as it also supports XHCI. For those looking to upgrade or add additional USB 3.1 ports or devices to their computer, the ECU03 is a great starting point.
