Product details
Device type: Ultrasonic
Operating temperature min.: -20°C
Operating temperature max.: +95°C
Series: Echomax XPS
A submersion shield is required for detecting immersion depth. The ultrasonic transducers of the XPS series from Siemens are suitable for measuring the level of solids and liquids. The Echomax transducers provide a narrow, highly sensitive beam with Siemens Sonic Intelligence (when used in conjunction with a Siemens transceiver) to achieve accurate results without interference. They are suitable for various media including solids, powdered solids, pellets, slurries, and liquids. The housing is made of PVDF and has an IP68 protection rating. The detection of immersion depth occurs at a frequency of 44 kHz (30 kHz for XPS-30) with a beam width of 6° (12° for XPS-10). The maximum range is 10 m (XPS-10), 15 m (XPS-15), and 30 m (XPS-30). The sensor features internal temperature compensation and is self-cleaning. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
