Siemens Universal dimmer

The Siemens Universal Dimmer is a versatile dimming actuator designed for controlling and dimming resistive, inductive, or capacitive loads. With two outputs, it allows for flexible adaptation to various load types through automatic switching between phase-cut and phase-control dimming. The dimmer is designed to operate with a rated operating voltage of AC 230 V and a frequency of 50 to 60 Hz. At an ambient temperature of +35 °C, each output can deliver up to 300 VA, while a maximum output of 500 VA can be achieved when using a single output. The Universal Dimmer also features electronic protection against overload, short circuits, and overheating, enhancing the safety and reliability of the device. Installation is straightforward on a DIN rail, and the status is indicated by a two-color LED that signals the switching state and any potential errors.
