When integrating into a chemical process, check the compatibility of the process with ETFE. The Echomax ultrasonic level measurement converter is designed for use in harsh and corrosive environments. A slim design allows for installation in a 2-inch standpipe, and the IP68-rated housing provides protection against dust, vibration, water ingress, and high temperatures. The level measurement converters are based on Siemens Sonic Intelligence (when used in conjunction with a Siemens transceiver) to achieve accurate results without interference. They are suitable for use with storage and liquid containers for chemicals. The ETFE housing rated IP68 enables detection of immersion depth at a frequency of 44 kHz (30 kHz XPS-30) and a beam width of 12°. The measurement range extends from 0.3 to 10 m. Internal temperature compensation and a self-cleaning function make them particularly suitable for harsh and corrosive environments as well as for indoor and outdoor use.
