Signal converter SIRIUS 3RS70. The Siemens Sirius 3RS70 signal converters perform the coupling function for analog signals on both the input and output sides. They are essential for processing analog values with electronic controls. Particularly under harsh industrial conditions, it is often necessary to transmit analog signals over long distances. Due to the various power supplies, electrical isolation is required. The resistance of the wiring causes potential differences and losses that must be avoided. Electromagnetic interference and overvoltages can particularly affect the signals on the input side or even destroy the analog modules. All terminals of the 3R70 signal converters are safe up to a voltage of 30 V dc and are protected against polarity reversal.
