Siemens Milltronics motion detection systems are designed to identify changes in operation, such as motion and velocities, that could lead to costly malfunctions and failures. When a problem is detected, the MFA 4p controller can send a signal through contacts to shut down equipment and prevent further damage or loss. Single setpoint operation makes these units suitable for a variety of industries, including water and wastewater.

Requires a motion sensor (8044102) and sensor controller (8044086) for operation. The probe can be mounted up to 100 mm from the target. Selectable over-speed or under-speed detection. Start-up delay. Temperature range: -40 °C to +60 °C. IP67 (probe). NEMA 4X, polycarbonate enclosure (alarm controller); aluminum enclosure (probe).
