The Pill by Shelly is a compact smart home gateway powered by USB-C with 5V, offering both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionalities. Thanks to the integrated Shelly Gen3 platform, it can execute local actions and scripts, as well as incorporate virtual components. The flexible peripheral support allows for the connection of a wide range of digital and analog sensors and actuators via external add-ons. The Pill is ideal for applications in building automation, environmental monitoring, and DIY projects. It supports common sensors with a plug-and-play setup and allows for the measurement of direct currents up to 30V with an external add-on. Data processing can occur locally or be integrated into existing smart home systems via protocols like MQTT, HTTP, or WebSocket.
