Thanks to pre-installed insulation mats on the sides, front, and top of the case, operating noise is reduced by up to 30 percent. The case remains whisper quiet even with powerful hardware. It not only has plenty of installation options for this, but also clever solutions to make the associated cabling disappear from view.
Simple installation thanks to well thought-out housing construction
Also on board the AM5 is a sophisticated cable management system with numerous cable outlets. The complete cabling can thus be hidden behind the mainboard without impairing the airflow. There is sufficient space for the power supply unit with a maximum length of 20.5 cm in the tunnel in the bottom of the case. The power supply cabling can also be discreetly hidden from view here. The tunnel itself has air inlets at the top and side, which provide for sufficient cooling of the hard disks. Through an opening in the mainboard tray, a new CPU cooler with a maximum height of 16.7 cm can be installed in no time at all without much effort. Of course, there is also sufficient space for graphics cards up to 40 cm in length. The front panel is not only visually outstanding, but also cleverly and wirelessly designed. It can be removed at any time without a cable getting in the way.
Sufficient space for hard disks
Sufficient space is also provided for the installation of hard disks: Up to two 3.5-inch hard disks or two 2.5-inch HDDs/SSDs can be installed in a hard disk cage screwed to the tunnel ceiling. Another 3.5-inch hard disk on the tunnel floor below. Space for two additional 2.5-inch HDDs/SSDs is behind the mainboard tray, where they can be mounted using two 2.5-inch drive slides and the thumbscrews provided. If necessary, the hard disk cage can be moved up to the fans on the case front, where it can be mounted easily thanks to the slotted holes and thumbscrews.

In order to ensure an optimal air flow, the front of the housing has numerous air inlets on the sides. Two 140 mm fans are pre-installed behind the front panel. Alternatively, up to three 120 mm fans and a 280 mm or 360 mm radiator with a total height of up to 5.5 cm including fan can be installed. A 120 mm fan is pre-installed at the rear of the case. This can of course be replaced by a 120 mm radiator. Thanks to the practical oblong holes, all fans and radiators can be easily positioned and moved.
Fast access to peripherals
So that nothing stands in the way of the stylish front, the audio connections for microphone and headphones as well as two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 interfaces are located above the front of the case. The USB 3.0 ports are connected to the mainboard via a 19-pin mainboard connector.
