Product details
The Gee Bee Z, built to original size and named "City of Springfield," was an American racing aircraft from the 1930s, constructed with the sole aim of winning the National Air Races in 1931. The Gee Bee Z was built in less than five weeks and was a small, stout aircraft. Essentially, it was the smallest possible airframe designed around the largest possible engine. The scale model impressively performs in flight but does not replicate the notoriously difficult flying characteristics of the original; however, it still requires the skill of an experienced model pilot. Seagull-Models / SG-Models offer affordable models, primarily made of wood, with an excellent price-performance ratio. The product line includes many beautiful and unusual aircraft types that bring variety to any airfield. Almost all models can be equipped with either combustion or electric drives. The necessary accessories are included with these models. All models come with a comprehensive, illustrated, and easily understandable English assembly manual. The high level of prefabrication allows for short final assembly times. All models undergo extensive flight testing before mass production, ensuring very good flight performance.
